Many can still hear that ear-piercing roar of cowbells ringing over and over after last year's 26-14 home loss to Mississippi State. Among other things, it was what many saw as the clincher behind the decision to fire former head coach Mike Shula. Junior safety Rashad Johnson points out that it was the downward spiral for the rest of the season as not only did Alabama lose to Mississippi State but its final three games as well.
