For the third straight year, Alabama center Antoine Caldwell has been named to the Rimington Trophy preseason watch list. That award goes to the best center in the country and is named for Dave Rimington, the former Nebraska center.
Alabama center Antoine Caldwell was named the Rimington Trophy watch list released yesterday. When the All-SEC player from Montgomery chose to return for his senior season, coach Nick Saban said he felt like now, Caldwell would receive the recognition he deserves.

One of the first prospects to commit to Alabama last year was Pleasant Grove defensive end Brandon Lewis. The 6-3, 270-pound Lewis finished his senior season with 66 tackles, seven sacks and five forced fumbles. Lewis might contend for early playing time as a true freshman next season.
