Former University of Alabama cheerleader Margaret "Meg" Ingram, 21, passed away Friday morning, February 1, at Huntsville Hospital after battling cancer. Meg, a Tide cheerleader during the 2005-06 and 2006-07 school years, passed away with her parents by her side.

TUSCALOOSA | A 3-pointer by junior guard Brandon Hollinger with just over 2 minutes to play, and dunks by Alonzo Gee and Richard Hendrix in the final moments sealed the victory as the University of Alabama men’s basketball team defeated LSU, 81-72, Saturday at Coleman Coliseum. Senior guard Mykal Riley led the Crimson Tide with 19 points, 16 of which came in the first half, and Hendrix match his point production while also grabbing 17 rebounds.

It's a long way back from a 0-4 start in the SEC, but the Alabama basketball team inched in the right direction with an 81-72 win over the LSU Tigers Saturday. Both teams entered Saturday's game with 1-5 records in the SEC, each claiming Auburn as its only victim.
