• Men's Basketball: Alabama 91, Nicholls State 53 - box score
• Tide Trounces Nicholls State, 91-53 • RollTide.com Five players scored in double figures for the University of Alabama basketball team, as the Tide routed Nicholls State 91-53 at Coleman Coliseum Saturday afternoon. Senior Mykal Riley continued his hot shooting, knocking down six three-pointers on his way to 22 points to lead Alabama.
• Tide hammers Colonels 91-53 • BamaOnLine (for members only) Alabama's non-conference basketball schedule provided a break Saturday as UA dispatched an outmanned Nicholls State squad 91-53. In other words, the performance of Bama Saturday at Coleman Coliseum was good enough to beat a Belmont, though probably still not up to a top ten opponent.
• Alabama Eligible for Pontiac Game Changing Performance of the Year Award • RollTide.com In a match up that saw a combined 900 yards of offense, seven touchdown passes and six turnovers, it was only fitting for the game to be decided in the final moments. With only eight seconds remaining, Alabama quarterback John Parker Wilson hit wide receiver Matt Caddell with a 4-yard touchdown pass to put the Tide up 41-38 over Arkansas.
