The Alabama baseball team recorded a season-high 18 hits en route to a 12-4 victory against Mississippi Valley State Tuesday night. Three different Crimson Tide players had three hits in the game, led by right fielder Tyler Odle who had a single, a double and a home run and scored five runs in the game.

Lefthander Miers Quigley shut down the Southeastern Louisiana Lions Wednesday night as the Crimson Tide rolled 7-0. Quigley pitched seven scoreless innings while giving up six hits and recording three strikeouts. After Wednesday's outing, Quigley's ERA dropped to 2.
The No. 2 Crimson Tide softball team is 35-3 with a 15-2 mark in the SEC. But the Tide has another opportunity looming - to sweep the state. Alabama will play at Troy tonight and have a three-game series at Auburn this weekend. While these games won't be played at Bryant-Denny Stadium in front of more than 92,000 fans, Alabama still feels the rivalry.
The Crimson Tide Women's Golf team moved into the 10th spot in the Golfweek/Sagarin poll Wednesday. Alabama reached the ranking after a record-breaking performance in last weekend's Crimson Tide Classic.
